Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman today (January 13) appointed Senator Dan Laughlin to serve as Chairman of the Senate Game & Fisheries Committee for the 2021-22 Legislative Session. He took over the committee at the start of the 2019-20 Legislative Session.
“I truly appreciate the opportunity to chair this Committee, which oversees a wide range of recreational activities that are enjoyed by thousands of Pennsylvanians,” said Senator Laughlin. “We took major steps last session to modernize and update Pennsylvania’s hunting and fishing laws, such as providing for Sunday hunting. I hope to build on that momentum to consider a variety of issues that not only impact our sportsmen and women, but also the communities where these activities are popular.
Senator Laughlin’s other committee assignments are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
