Recognizing that many people have seen their daily lives and their jobs impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, Senator Dan Laughlin launched a special page on his website (https://www.senatorlaughlin.com/) dedicated to providing his constituents with information regarding unemployment compensation.
The new page, https://www.senatorlaughlin.com/unemployment/, provides contact information and helpful links for people who have questions about how to file claims and about other steps in the process. It details eligibility requirements, addresses issues of interest to small business owners and includes a section dedicated to answering the questions about the unemployment compensation process posed by callers to Senator Laughlin’s office.
“The COVID-19 outbreak has impacted everyone, especially those who are now out of work. Helping my constituents navigate through the process of, and apply for, unemployment compensation is a priority for myself and my staff,” Senator Laughlin said. “To help streamline this process, I have added a resource guide to my website that provides important information about the process and answers for many of the questions we have received regarding unemployment compensation. It also includes contact information and links to help people through the process.”
